How to Be Saved
I am a sinner
“As the Scriptures say, ‘No one is righteous—not even one.’” –Romans 3:10
“For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.” –Romans 3:23
“When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned.” –Romans 5:12
Jesus paid the price for me.
“But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” –Romans 5:8
“For this is how God loved the world: He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but has eternal life.” –John 3:16
“This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it: ‘Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners’—and I am the worst of them all.” -1Timothy 1:15
By faith through Jesus Christ I can be saved.
“Jesus told her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in Me will live even after dying.” –John 11:25
“For it is My Father’s will that all who see His Son and believe in Him should have eternal life. I will raise them up at the last day.” –John 6:40
“‘The time promised by God has come at last!’ He announced. ‘The Kingdom of God is near! Repent of your sins and believe the Good News.’” –Mark 1:15
“For everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.” –Romans 10:13
“For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus.” –Galatians 3:26
All I need to do to be saved is BELIEVE upon the Lord Jesus Christ!
“But the tax collector stood at a distance and dared not even lift his eyes to heaven as he prayed. Instead, he beat his chest in sorrow, saying, ‘O God, be merciful to me, for I am a sinner.’” –Luke 8:13
The Sinner’s Prayer
Dear Jesus,
I am a sinner. I now repent of my sins. I know that you love me and you gave your only Son that I might have eternal life. I am asking you to come into my heart and to be Lord over my life. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord, and I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead. By faith, right now… I am saved. As I begin this new life I need guidance from the Holy Spirit that I might join a bible teaching church to study the Word and grow in my relationship with you. This is my prayer. Amen.
Do I have to join a church?
“And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of His return is drawing near.” –Hebrews 10:25
